Welcome to our Cabin!
Our mountain cabin is nestled in the trees of
the Sierra Nevada Mountains, near Lake Donner and Lake Tahoe, CA. It is a
brand new cabin, very comfortable and suitable for romantic getaways or
small family vacations. It is a two level, 800 sq. ft. home with a living
area, bedroom, bathroom and kitchen on the 1st level, and a large loft
connected via spiral staircase. In addition there is an extra external entry
to the loft providing winter access in snow up to 20 feet deep.
The Cabin has a nice large covered porch, one full bath, a wood pellet
stove, electric on demand hot water and remote controllable electric heading
system. The house is furnished in typical northern European style and
designed to allow four to six persons to comfortably sleep and play in the
house.
The kitchen is equipped with new microwave/convection oven, a dishwasher,
a European styled high efficient washer & dryer and a European style refrigerator.
The loft has a TV with built in DVD
player. New in 2009 is the High Speed Wireless Internet (Downstream up to
3.0 Mbps, Upstream up to 512 Kbps).
